Her musical style is hard to describe, at times combining traditional American music and instruments with a 1920s style sense of cabaret, at others displaying a delicate sensitivity and human insight that has earned her a reputation as one of the acoustic scene’s most exciting and diverse artists.
Her new live album entitled No. 5, due for release in early 2010 was recorded live in one take, in front of an audience at a show which included members of Guillemots, The Brute Chorus and the Richard Hawley band.
